S2 soft top frame

I am in the process of repairing the soft top frame on my Series 2 Alpine and have a couple of questions. Firstly, are the side (folding) rails straight, or do they have have slight "kinks" in them - mine do, but I'm not sure if this is due to nearly 60 years of use and abuse. Secondly, the countersunk rivets that hold the frame together are worn and in some places no longer hold the frame together. Are these, or a substitute (threaded with a nut, perhaps) available? Thanks in advance for the help.

Tom, thanks for the response. I had a look at the photos and it's a little hard to tell - it looks like there may be a slight kink...
Can someone out there with a series 2 check?
