The windshield mirror from a series 3, IV or V, off the later steel windshield frame will fit. As for the series I and II mirror, I don't know. I've never checked to see if the mount is the same.

Series II Mirror

The Series II mirror will fit the later windshield frame, however the Series II mirror base is flat to match the cast windshield frame. The Series 3 and later mirror has a ridge on the top edge to match the steel frame. This means the later mirror would not fit properly to the early cast frame. If anyone wants pictures of each type mirror send e-mail to me.
