Donation Time
I recently had a phone call from John Lyne of Cootamundra (NSW) who wants to sell his Series II Sunbeam Rapier Convertible. John bought the car some years ago from a Rootes collector in Sydney. Since then he has had extensive restoration done on the car including new paint and chrome, reconditioned engine, gearbox overhauled and new radiator. The original engine has been replaced with a 1725 Alloy head motor, and overdrive is also fitted to the car (and working). The colour is champagne silver with black side flash and convertible top. These are as rare as hens teeth - I bet there are fewer than 6 in Australia. What a nice garage companion for an Alpine
