I have 2, 10 inch electric fans mounted to a fan shouding. They are the straight blade puller 12 vdc at 80 watts. I was woundering what fans other V6 owners used for cooling.

I used a Spal pusher fan placed in front of the radiator. I think it is a 12 inch fan. When I first installed it, it was controlled by a thermo switch that would turn on at 190 degrees. The switch was a cheap one from ebay and lasted about 2 months. Now the fan is controlled with a switch on the dash. At highway speeds, the fan isn't needed. In city driving with stoplights, the fan is needed. I do not have a shroud and I have closed off the horn holes. In Minnesota we have had temps in the 90s for the last month, and this set up has worked. I'm not sure how well it would work in 100 degree heat, with long stops idling in traffic.
