Casting number under the center of the rocker arm is 1980813, beneath that is 2J66, beneath that is AM.

Bought it years ago, would like to know what it fits.

Thanks,
Cris

Chris, just am or am3 ? Does it have the sparking plug tubes or are the open castings around the plugs?

Just AM, the spark-plug holes are open casting, about 1 5/8ths inches deep before the threads for the plugs start. Only real 'tubes' I see are on the manifold (int. exh.) side. I've got two metal tubes there, recessed almost flush with the gasket surface.

I was just looking at the cylinder head that Mr. Meek has listed a couple photos of in his for sale thread (now he's got some stuff!!). My head's different. I think I understand now the question you asked. As I mentioned above there's holes where the plugs slide into, not an open casting area like what I think you're talking about. His head is stamped AM3......

So what does/will this fit. All 1725's.??

UPDATE. I'm told this head's for a 66 (as in the casting marking). Mark V...

That's what I know (very little).

Thanks for the reply.

Cris
