Ann Marie and I are planning on attending the Northern Indiana Lakes British Motor Club's annual car show next weekend. (Hopefully with the shaggy Alpine :))

This looks like a really fun event in a cool venue with local shops and many area attractions. We're planning on staying Friday night in nearby town located in Amish country.

Thought this might be even be an opportunity to scope out a possible future Invasion location. Really sounds like a SAOCA friendly event.

Is anyone else going? Ever been to this one Bill?

Ann Marie and I had a great time at the Fall Out. This was a great venue for a car show, with around 60 classic cars to please the guys and several galleries and shops to please the better half. I actually got bored before Ann Marie did.

Weather held off until the very end around 2:30, then the rain sent everyone packing.

There was 1 other Sunbeam, a nicely restored Tiger. I definitely think we should Invade one year and bring a big Sunbeam showing. I did chat with some of the NILBMC guys, they might try to move the date a little earlier so that the weather isn't such a gamble.

We made a weekend out of it and stayed in nearby Indiana Amish country, with plenty of touristy things to do. The Alpine made it there and back, even cruising at 65 mph and keeping us relatively dry during two hours of wet weather driving. Overall a wonderful trip.

Ann Marie and the shaggy Alpine, our parking spot was right in front of the wine shop...
