They must have pulled the v8 out. Perhaps the first alger conversion that went from tiger to alpine drivetrain?

"Tiger GT" - never seen one of those before!
This is an alpine series 3GT, there were actually 15 GT Tigers in early production... A full GT interior hardtop only as per alpine.
At this point in production the Tiger had the wood wheel but a black vynil dash and standard ST door trims. Aftet the first 400 they standardised the wooden dash.. When they swicthed to square corner doors and bonnet in 65 they also standardised GT door trims... So GT spec ( minus the interior light on screen) and the full soft top
