Suppose we take a survey as to how many of us want, need, or will buy a new window(s) rear &side, for our SIII, SIV, SV & Tigers, then make contact with SS or Cs or ? and see if they would be willing to do have some produced?

I for one would buy 2 sets .....

My mistake in not spelling out that this started out for the late series metal hard tops.

Maybe we could include SI & SII in the search for new top windows?

I don't have a clue as to where to start except maybe Rick at Sunbeam Specialist.....

We started this Thread with the idea of getting New Hart Top windows for our later series Sunbeams and now including the early also:


Early : Series I and II

Late: Series SIII, SIV, SV & Tigers.

I guess I should ask for E-mails/Phone Numbers/ Name and Address for shipping too, some point along the way?

ATTENTION: I just spoke with Larry at Sunbeam Specialties !

Here is the jest of the conversation:

Rick has on order the SIII, SIV, SV & Tiger Metal Hard Top rear window (Plexiglas) Item number HT55 page 26 in catalog. Expect delivery in about two (2) weeks maybe three (3).

If you really want one you must contact Larry or Rick at Sunbeam Specialties to place your order. They will put it on back order, notify you when it arrives and payment can then be made.

I'll drop out of this now that we have a solution for our Late Series Hard Tops:)

NEXT: Series I & II Hard Top rear windows (Plexiglas) are still available for purchase but NOT at Sunbeam Specialties. You must CALL: 562-430-8108 Aircraft Windshield Co. Los Alamitos, California.

I spoke with a very nice young lady (Jesscia). She said they are still making them for the SI & II Alpines with a bout a two week delivery time. They (Item Number HT25) run about $320.00 for the window, rubber seal and an installation tool.

Same here as with the Later Series, I will drop out of this in that we have a solution:)

Hope you Guys follow thru ASAP.....
