Better yet (IMO) get a UV oil leak detector kit.

I got one on ebay for like $40.

Use the AC detector oil like zyglo.
Or perhaps zyglo fluid is available?

I would imagine it will show nicely with the UV gun.

Not something I know about but will look into it. The Magniflux unit I work with is old school big U shaped piece maybe 10 inches pole to pole, plug it in stick it on hit the trigger then puff yellow powder. I am sure you know the type. You had my brain spinning on how to get the field on the tiny piece that will not reach to the two poles, was thinking to lay the piece on a big piece and try it, thanks for the tip.
