All things considered, if you're certain you want to forge forward with the car you might consider shipping the car to someone knowledgeable who can do the complete job, including the engine removal and arranging the rebuild while working the body. I have a buddy (fellow SAOCA member) located in New York who is well suited but is pretty busy so you might have to wait a bit before he can get to yours. Maybe he'll chime in?

Ohio to New York isn't that far so I would imagine getting the car transported wouldn't break the bank.
