Can anyone recommend a good machine shop for working on a 1725 CC engine in North Carolina?

I called him last year to get an idea what the Vizzard mods on my head would cost. The gut that answed said he wasn't
him . The next time I called, same guy answered and said it was him. He gave me a very hard time
getting any details so I decided to use my current shop here in NY. I figured that my car is my hobby
and I get enjoyment from it. Anyone that takes that joy away from it doesn't deserve my business.

Steve, you might want to check out Boyette Machine Shop in Raleigh.
327 W Martin st, 919-828-9383.
They have an excellent reputation but I don't know what their experience is w/ British.

No worries Jim,
You had a good experience with him so don't feel bad about recommending him.
It's not the first time a recommendation didn't work out.
I appreciate the fact you were willing to share, as that's what this club is all about.

Cheers!
Steve
