I stumbled upon a very old post on another forum that mentions an article by David Vizard about performance enhancements to the 1725 engine. Does anyone have a scanned copy of the article?
The title is apparently "Chrysler 1600/1725".

Here's a link to the discussion about this article from way back in 2001:

Jeff:
pm me your email address and I will send you a pdf copy. The quality isn't the best but it is mostly readable.

The tech article link contains the Barbara Blue material. Nothing to be gained. Besides, I have no idea where it might be. I doubt if we still have it.

Yes, I did find something in that area but it seemed like it had been rewritten and maybe wasn't the actual article. When I first came across it a few weeks ago I though it was a small book but since discovered it was an article in a mag years ago.

This may be what you are looking for:

Scroll down the page to Engine / Heads / Vizard head modification and download the zip file.

FYI, Mike Hartman is a member (and moderator) of the SAOCA forum (hartmandm).

Also FYI, David Vizard has written a bunch of books / magazine articles about how to make more engine power. Most have nothing to do with Alpines or other British cars.
