Greetings Sunbeamers! Last May was too much fun, so we have to do it all over again. We have reservations at the exotic Bluebird Inn in Cambria. This is a nicer and more favorable location than the last one. Below are the dates and rates. Call them directly at 805 927 4634 and reference the Sunbeam Car Club. Don't use a booking agency.

Well, the issue is already in doubt. We are expecting a new grandchild May 22. This is a real monkey wrench in the works. For the past few years, we have wanted to make a west coast Alpine tour, visiting relatives (some of whom we have never seen) and traveling up the coast to Washington, mostly just because. The Invasion would fit into these plans very nicely.

Now??

Well, Barb has wanting to do this for several years (mostly her relatives) and time is running out for me to do this. So its becoming a now or never thing.

Tough decision coming up.

Good Idea, but the time frame is all out of wack. They have two other babes who will be 3 and eighteen months. So we will probably stay around a week or so to help with the new born. That keeps us in Indiana until the first of June. But we can't leave then, Barb is camp nurse at the local cub scout camp, which runs June 11 -16. We would like to take the train to California, so we would be gone over a month. Even if we flew back, we would be gone a month.

Life sure gets complex when you are retired. We'll probably have to fold.
