Intake manifold torque setting

The Air-pine is home, finally, carbs sound great! but have a few odds 'n ends to fix prior to a test drive.

One is to fix a leak for the intake manifold. Carb guys said the manifold leaks at the corners.

So first thing is to torque it properly and see if I get lucky- but to what setting?

So far none of my books provides a setting, except for a page referring to a Tiger manifold (14 pounds for inlet; 16 pounds for exhaust).

Any suggestions from experieance or a referenced setting would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

That sounds about right. You just want to snug them down tight, but not pull the threads out of the head.
