Here's an actually nice find... and it's reasonable money...

Seen on FB tonight... $3900 firm, it says. Actually, the hardtop alone is probably worth $900. The seats are surprisingly nice, and it looks like it comes with the factory tool kit as well... I can just see the tell-tale wooden screwdriver handle peeking out. More photos are available in the FB posting.

    The ad blurb says:

"1966 alpine Sunbeam. Vehicle has sat in a garage for a couple of decades. Engine does roll over freely. It is complete including , air in the spare, lead hammer and factory owners manual. The car spent most it's life in southern Texas so rust is at a minimum. It also has the original paint on all panels without previous repairs. Located outside just outside of Austin. Price is firm. First come first serve."

Wow. That does look like a good deal! A smoking good deal if the rust in the car and the top are minimal.

Yup, looks solid and complete...hope it gets restored rather than cut up and parted out.

What a time piece. Even has the rear window chrome trim.

It appears to have disappeared off Facebook. Did you buy it, Jerry?

No, was not me. My shop space is so limited that it was wishful thinking.
