Heater Valve Upgrade/Replacment

Help, my heater valve blew out at the glued connection. I learned the hard way this is a common problem. The photo shows the whole story. Sunbeam Alpines & Tiger Spares sells a replacement that looks like it has a thread on connection where mine failed. It seems like it would be a better alternative. Anyone know of a different place which sells these which isn't in the UK or something which won't fail?

I’d rough up the surfaces of the bore and insert, clean them thoroughly with lacquer thinner or MEK, and re-insert it with some JB Weld or PC-7 on both joining surfaces. Let I cure for 48 hours at 70+ degrees. Won’t blow out again in your lifetime.
