I have a question what is the secret to installing the trim clips and keeping them in? this is for the rear window and dose the trim go under just one lip of the rubber or is it attached in two slots on the gasket? Thanks

There is a trick to it. First at the tips of each piece drill a small hole through, be sure to be almost right at the end so the clip will cover it. Next, dimple the trim slightly between the hole and the edges so when the wire is added it won't be higher than the trim itself. The trim pieces go into the groove on the seal on the inside edge, but not the outside. So you now take a light piece of stainless or copper wire and thread it through the holes and use it to snug the ends together once in the seal groove. This keeps the trim from trying to pop loose. Clip off the long ends of the wire and push into the dimple in the trim you made so the clip will cover it. The clip itself will go into the same groove on the inside edge and tuck into the seal on the outside, you may need to bed the tab on the clip to get it to fit.

Thanks, I have spent some time on this and its not very easy get the clips to stay in place. Still looking at other ways , i have used the holes trick and works ok but still not 100% I'll Keep Working on it!

I used Super Glue to keep the clips in place. Transparent and very effective but you should degrease them with brake cleaner beforehand...
