You need to buy the new design from Rootes-Spares in Holland. I had one on the shelf and needed it for a customer's car. I need to get some more.

Depending on what is wrong with your distributor, you might look into having it rebuilt. I am very happy with the results I got from this guy http://www.advanceddistributors.com/

I had already bought a Pertronix unit for it. He installed it, completely rebuilt the rest of the mechanism, installed a new bushing, rebuilt the vacuum advance, cleaned up the whole unit, and shipped it back. It look like brand new when I got it. Total price $141 including shipping. Obviously, that does NOT include the Pertronix unit.

In addition to the great electronic ignition kits from Pertronix they now offer replacement distributors for our Alpines, with the electronic ignition module already installed. You might want to consider getting the whole package from Pertronix.
