I had thought about using a line lock breaking device. The way they work, is with a switch plummed into the brake line. You just step on the brake, and while holding it down, you flip the switch and the pressure stays in the line, locking the brakes. To remove the brake, you just flip off the switch and away you go. If would be much cheaper to use a line lock, not to mention way easier to install too.

Jose how bout a explanation on the line lock. Is this just a manual valve or is there something electrically actuated and where would this be purchased.
Thanks

Dwain, you can get the locks in manual or electric configuration. The electric one would not be good for long term use, it needs current to remain locked. That means a dead battery and no locked brakes after a few hours. But in general, a line lock is not considered to a substitute parking brake. A few drops of fluid loss in the rear brake circuit results in a released brake.

If you are interested, I have a manual lock that I will sell you. Has been installed but never used. When I went to the Saturn rears it was no longer needed.
