I have several of the same or similar Motorola radio. Probably installed by the dealerships here in the U.S.

well I bid on this, and THEN downloaded the schematics :rolleyes:

Looks like the 311x is positive ground and the 310x is negative ground. Under the schematic its printed:

'A' Lead must be connected to negative side of power supply, radio will not operate and damage to components will result if connected otherwise

Oh well, that bracket is what I'm really after.

ooohhhh, I didn't know that... like I said, the radio was loose in a box in the trunk. The bracket was mounted on the car though. I could cancel your bid? or maybe best to replace the guts of the radio anyway and just use the faceplate?

don't worry about it, I kinda planned on replacing the guts anyway, or adding an aux input at the least.
