The length of the support arm that fits into the bumper hole is longer (black) than the one painted red over black.

I took them home but unfortunately I'm only there about a day and a half each week. If someone could please clue me in on what the difference is in the red one that would be helpful.

There was another Shelly jack with the Chrysler / Rootes part #1237450. I have three of these jacks but I've never thought to take the time to compare the three styles of jacks as far as length or the arm but this jack was used on the Arrow range of cars built after the production of series Alpines ended and worked the same. The lug wrench / handle was different in that it didn't have the sharp right angle of the shaft like the series Alpine piece and the shaft was also longer. It had more angle than the others. The handle also was used to lower the spare tire holder under the trunk floor by turning the bolt inside the trunk. The car shown in my avatar was a low mileage original car except for tires, etc. and the triangle shaped plastic tool bag was in the trunk with the pieces still in it. The bag held the jack and handle since the cars did not have tool kits like the series Alpine.
