Thanks Bob I'm sure that it's great stuff but no submarine Sunbeams in my garage. Just a Tiger with a oil cooler and a stock oil filter that was parked in a dry spot for many years
Warren,
You never know. Don't you live near a beach? The right product could clean things up without the damage that a home made snake oil could possibly do to a vehicle. With the regulations in California I would prefer a product you can legally dispose of.

I'm not up to fiddling with the oil filter remote anymore, she'll be lucky to see 100 miles before the end of the year. Not using the O'reilly store motor flush. Going with the A and P guy who's also is a airline pilot and put in some Marvel Mystery Oil he likes that but it looks like ATF. Hope our banter will help the OP . I recall a friend that makes me look like daddy warbucks ...He took a car sitting for 14 years and drove it for maybe 500 sold on saying the oil looked clean .... I have rescued many old motors and when the oil is easy to change that's great. I had a canister filter on my first International van, almost anything is easy compared to that and the Tiger $%$#@$ oil filter
