Scroll down from the picture a bit and you'll get your answer. The #45 Alpine was driven by Lew Spencer and the #89 Alpine was driven by Ray Pickering. Evidently, Ed Lumpkin was the driver of the MGA behind the Alpines (which is where they belong, by the way...:D)

Yeah, I typed it wrong and could not correct. I don't know these fellows and wondered if the cars still existed or if anyone knew them. Interesting, a Porsche 356 in our vintage race club SOVREN is a fast as it gets, EProd range and top of that. They must have been very stock back then with skinny tires because they run laps around any FProd car now, especially ours.
