Distributor gear needed

Hey, guys:

I'm in desperate need of the gear that goes onto the bottom of the distributor shaft just above the drive dog for the oil pump on my 1600 motor. I'm running a mechanical tach and my distributor is out of a motor with an electronic tach. Hence, no gear. Evidently, this gear that I'm missing off the distributor engages the tach drive gear on the side of the distributor stand, thereby driving the tachometer. Obviously, mine is not being driven.

The car is currently stranded at a buddy's shop and I'm in need of this gear (and whatever else I need that comes with it...) as soon as possible. If anyone can help me, you can either respond on the forum or to me personally at <awtiger@cox.net>

Thanks so much for the help,

A much better bet would be to get a used SI to SIII distributor and use that as a starting point to build to your needs.

Not likely to find the part you need without tearing a dizzy down.
