Do I have to pull out the motor to replace the clutch?

Clutch replacement

On a series V, you can just drop the transmission to change the clutch. As Jan says though, it's very little difference in work to pull E & T as a unit.
You should read the sections in WSM 145 on the subject.

When I removed my trans, I had the rear of the car higher than the front. This made the trans level when sliding out.

I think I will pull the motor as it gives me the opportunity to clean and fix any leaks and do more cleaning
