here is the difference between early Alpine cam shafts and the ser5
early cams have 12 drive teeth for oil pump and
ser5 has 11 teeth
corresponding oil pumps also have 12 or 11 teeth

these are two alloy head and two iron head cams - one of the alloy head cams is for a five main engine

cyl#2 lobes circled in black

exhaust is red

intake is blue

fuel pump lobe is green

drive gears are circled in purple - the narrow drive gear is for a 1725 alloy head. the wider gears are for three main engines
the narrow drive gear is eleven teeth - the wider gears are twelve teeth - the pitch of the teeth are different to account for the different tooth counts
