Has anyone heard of or dealt with this place. I found them online while googling for parts. They are in the UK. Looks like they have some performance parts for the Cologne 2.8 V6. Especially a nice selection of heads. I also noted that they have bellhousings for the T-5. Their web site is

Mike,
I have seen their ads, but never had any dealings with them. I would suggest you ask this question on the Capri Power website: www:capripower.co.uk I have found the people there to be very helpful.

Keep in mind that importing parts that are too big to mail can get tricky.

I live about 30 mins from them and have known of them for nearly 25 years. They specialise in the rebuild of the Ford engines however they will do most things. In Essex in the UK if you had a Burton powered Ford you were something else!!!

Speaking of Burton Power, why is it that the UK suppliers do not give grind cam specs based on .050" lift? Total duration means little. Compared to stock, my cam has 17 degrees less total duration, but 20 degrees more at .050".

Have popped into the store once or twice and they're very nice, helpful blokes with a lot of fancy shiny parts on display that I can't afford ...

Never engaged them for any work yet but, being as they're about 10 mins from home am likely to ask them to at least quote on a rebuild of my Cologne V6.

They've a very good reputation (albeit of the 'street rod' nature) locally.

The parts are gonna be heavy on shipping but I'd recommend them if you can't source local to the US.

That said, I must pass anecdote of another 'Essex' conversation with local petrol-heads who, on being given a fictitious bottomless pit budget for their dream car, would rather buy a tricked-out, chipped-up, big spoiler 80's Sierra Cosworth than even entertain the thought of a 'proper' classic. It's an Essex/Ford boy-racer thing, I guess...
