Eric I finally got the brake drum off two pry bars and the “blue wrench” what happened was this. I peeled back the rubber covers and discovered there were no retaining clips on the wheel cylinder which caused the cylinder to cock and jam up the star adjuster. I found all of the parts from a MGC specialist in Iowa.
