Brake Master Series II Alpine

When I disassembled the car over a year ago, the brake master had a 1/2" spacer that extended the master into the motor bay which then shortened the push rod to the pedal. As the push rod is adjustable in length I don't see a reason for the spacer.

Any ideas or is this an anomaly unique to this previously abused machine. (I have a new master ready to install)

Thanks

The aluminum spacers were factory standard on both brake and clutch master cylinders for all Series Alpines and Tigers.

Hmm,. this car only had one. What purpose does it have? Any ramifications if not used?

Basically your choice to use or not, all depends on the adjustments.

Advise NOT to Throw away:)
