Alloy Wheel Torque

Do you torque alloy wheels differently than steel wheels? I've been torquing my Superlites to what's in the manual for steel. So far the wheels haven't fallen off but it just dawned on me that it might be worth asking...:eek:

The answer is yes--I know superlite has very specific recommendations for their wheels--as Everett, he will know exactly.

3/8â€UNF. = 35 ft. pounds
7/16â€UNF. = 50 ft. pounds
1/2â€UNF = 60 ft. pounds
10x1.25mm. = 35 ft. pounds
10x1.5mm. = 35 ft. pounds
12x1.25mm. = 60 ft. pounds
12x1.5mm. = 60 ft. pounds
14x1.5mm. = 75 ft. pounds
16x1.5mm. = 90 ft. pounds

I pulled this off the Superlight website. I take it the measurements shown here are stud diameters and thread pitch, right?

Guess I should have looked this up first. DUH!:eek:
