I'm looking at buying a Alpine Series V. The car is in great condition with the exception of the following things that do not work:
1 - The heater temp control on the dash, but it is controlled by a manual valve in the engine compartment.
2 - The amp meter and tachometer
3 - The wipers and the washer button
4 - The horn may not be working (still checking on this)
I can live with most of them for the time being but would need to fix the wiper and horn issues before I can get the car registered. What I don't know is if these can be fixed relatively easily?
There also is a slight hairline crack in the finish on the rocker panels, which seems indicative of some body flex. Is this typical and should it be a concern?
Also, the car has the typical two-point lap seat belt. Is there a kit that can convert them to a three or four point belt?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce
