32-36 Problem

While messing with the carb, (long story, details later) I noticed gasoline dripping onto the secondary throttle plate from the aux ventura. This is with the engine idling at 700 rpm. Any ideas what would cause that? Fuel level too high? The primary does not do it.

First guess is fuel level.

Other things that can cause this are:

Bad or inappropriately adjusted secondary throttle stop.
(drip is caused by undue depression in secondary venturi)

Clogged or undersized secondary air jet/bleed orifice.
(drip is cause by a lack of bleed in the secondary main emulsion and depression is sufficient to lift un-emulsified fuel up and out the booster venturi).

Ive also seen cases where under load, the accel nozzles will allow fuel
to get pulled from them since the nozzles are in a high depression area.
The fix for this is a weight over the return ball bearing check valve.

Hope some of this helps.
