This falls into the category of how not to advertise your vehicle for sale, but looks like there may be something under the pile for someone looking for a late Alpine GT. No relation to seller.

WOW! That guy needs to learn a little bit about basic marketing. As you say, there may be something worth saving under that pile, but you would never know from his pictures.

Jim, I bet that would make a nice project, From what is available to see, it appears to be a solid vehicle.

Might take a while to get everything sorted out so you could bring it home

I wonder if the water cooler bottles come with the car. The deposits on the bottles probably covers the cost of the car.

There's a small (yet informative) tit for tat in the comment section for that (recently sold/mint condition) fastback "bring a trailer" ad about the difference between a "regular" and a "GT." This is certainly the "GT" model.

1970 models are very rare in the U.S. The bottom edge looks like the metal mice might have been nibbling on it.

In this case, I would rather not have a bottle in front of me.....
