I am looking for the dipstick tube for a series II with a 1592 engine. This is the part that slips into the tube coming from the oil pan. Anyone???

I'm a little confused because of the way the request is phrased. Do you need the tube that attached to the pan with the curve at the bottom, or the dipstick that goes into the tube?? In either case the relevent bits from any 1592 series II through IV are the same.

Sorry about the confusion. It is the tube that slips into the rounded tube on the oil pan, the rounded tube is welded to the pan, the other tube which is the one I need is pushed into the tube that is welded onto the pan. It can be removed with a little heat and twisted right out.

You don't normally see that as a part by itself. You may need to look for an entire pan. Or, you could try going by a hose and tubing shop and see if you can get a length of thin wall tubing and cut to length. Might be easier.

69 Boss:

There's a 1592 cc pan on Ebay right now with 2 days left on it...and it's got the dipstick tube extender that you're looking for...

Good luck,
