    Where is this part from?

This part comes from my Sunbeam Alpine Series 2. During the restoration of the car this part was removed and now I unfortunately do not know where it goes when putting it back together! And I could not find it in any Alpine manual, drawing (exploded view) or parts store. Many thanks for hints...

    Alpine with 302 automatic

This POST is for Fonz and his re-creation of a very rusty normally considered beyond restoring Alpine that He has taken on as a Project ALGER. Admiration is give to Him and anyone that would even start such a Project. SAOCA Motto: Keep'em-on-the-Road is at work:)

What did you do with your Sunbeam today? My Inaugural Run!!

Took my 62 out for it's inaugural run yesterday - here's a pic of mine at the halfway point, where we stopped for a hike. Almost a year to the day since I bought it, only to realize the car wouldn't start, wasn't driveable and needed way more TLC than I'd thought....full of mice, shot brakes...
