    2.8 Tappets

    Guys, I have a manual for the Mustang II 2.8 which explains the recommended procedure for adjusting the tappets. Since this should be done "hot", I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations that would speed the process so the engine doesn't get too cold. Thanks Georbge

    I am confused by the fact that spark plugs listed for the 2.8 range in thread depth from .460" to .679". Can the plugs with the shorter thread depth possibly ignite the air-fuel mixture as well as the longer? What plugs are working well? Thanks George
