    I am trying to rebuild a MC from a series II to put in my series I. It has a metal sleeve where the pushrod enters it. What's the deal cut it off or trash it and buy a new one. I've already have a kings ransom in this car. Any thoughts.

    Personally I always start with spark. Unplug one cylinder at a time to find the dead cylinders. If it was carbs i think it would effect more than two. I could be wrong but that's where I would start. Best of luck

    Benefits of using distilled water and anti-freeze

    Distilled water is the best for there are no free oxigen molecules to corrode anything I left some in an aluminum tank I fabricated for over a year with zero effect on the tank.

    Dash pad replacement

    When it comes to adhesives and tapes I use only 3M their 1300 and 1357 cements cannot be beat. As far as positioning it the more hands the better.
