    Coolant Leak

    I had the coolant tank off of my 62 SII to replace the thermostat. But now coolant is leaking out and I can't for the life of me get it to stop - have had it on and off 3 times to make sure the gasket is properly situated. Are there any tricks or hints? Should I be using sealant?

    Temperature sender - where are you?

    Sorry for the dumb question - it's not the first time for me - but where is the under-hood temperature sending unit supposed to be located in a 62 MKII? I think the PO of my car disconnected and capped - the temp gauge wires are cut and I can't find where he capped it off.

    What did you do with your Sunbeam today? My Inaugural Run!!

    Took my 62 out for it's inaugural run yesterday - here's a pic of mine at the halfway point, where we stopped for a hike. Almost a year to the day since I bought it, only to realize the car wouldn't start, wasn't driveable and needed way more TLC than I'd thought....full of mice, shot brakes...
