Contestants in the 'Find the Hidden Alpine Bonnet Flash' Derby were repremanded by the sponsoring body Friday for "Behavior Unbecoming". Luke Warmwater of East Ulm, Texas (shown in mid air) is attempting to beat the ground team member from the Goodyear Arizona team to the next clue. Pilot for the Goodyear team was quoted as saying "He may get to the clue first but he ain't going anywhere without his truck" while waiting for the replacement Cessna to arrive.

Har de har har. Sorry, but I don't cover Controlled Flight into Obstructions. Look at the plane's elevators (control surfaces at the rear) - full down deflection. For some reason he was diving, not trying to climb over the pickup. Either that or his seat belt broke and he just hit the joystick at 80mph with his own "joy stick."
