Quite a lot of the arrow series blocks were a Chrysler blue.. Iirc there was some very late SV that had these and the heads without spark plug tubes.A lot of the "crate" motors were destined for Iran.
Might have something to do with why the color was different.
Some of the late Series Vs had the same blue color....It is a grayish-blue, and I have matched that color too.I got an engine out of an Hillman Hunter 1970. It was blue.
Was there a Rootes color code for "Talbot Blue"...the late Series Vs which were painted Talbot Blue.
