Hello! It's time for some spring cleaning! I've got some spare parts lying around that I will let go for very cheap. I am located in West Haven, Conn. I can take more photos as requested. Thank you!

S2 transmission - came in my car (build date 10/62) but never tested by me as the engine wasn't good. I swapped to a S5 engine and transmission. no reason to believe this trans isn't good, but I can't guarantee it, unfortunately. I also have the flywheel/pressure plate from same car.

S2 cylinder head - also original to my car. Includes push rods. When I pulled the engine to clean up/reseal, I found that the thrust bearing was gone and the crankshaft had eaten into the block.. hence the S5 swap. However, the top end looked fine.

I don't think the S2 stuff is worth a lot but would maybe do someone some good. Accepting offers! Cheers!

Can you post a better shot of the combustion chamber of the head (more parallel) not Sure if its the angle of the photo but the head looks like its had a vizard modification

Well spotted Michael, that head looks definitely modified. Combustion chambers have been widened up extensively. So putting it onto an otherwise STD block with dished pistons would result in less power, because of less compression...

Hello Moonstone, I do still have the cylinder head. Also, here are some more close up pics of the combustion chambers and spark plug holes. As far as I know this head is stock, but I suppose anything is possible on parts this old! This was from the original engine in my Series 2. I bought it from the widow of the original owner who had parked the car in a garage in 1976 never to drive it again. Based on how stock the rest of the car still was when I acquired it, I don't think the previous owner made any modifications to the car. Anyway, let me know if you'd like any more info/photos. I'll keep a closer eye on this post!
