Need Fuel Sending Unit Ring Series 5

HELP!!!!

I just had my fuel sending unit rebuilt and had the gas tanks painted inside and out. However, my dad, who removed the sending unit, cannot find the fuel sending unit locking ring.

Classic Sunbeam has the kit but won't sell me just the ring.

Does anyone know where I can get one? Or knows of a ring that will work with these tanks I can pick up at NAPA?

Disaster averted. I found one in my parts pile. But does anyone know where to source a new one?

I didn't know Classic Sunbeam had started selling a replacement fuel sender for series 3 to 5. Thanks for the heads up.

Someone is selling replacements obviously. Probably a UK source.

That ring is used on lots of cars, not just Sunbeam. Try a Triumph ring - I believe they’re also the same, and probably more available. Moss may even have them.
