This video details how we modify the quarter lights of later Series Alpines or Tigers when either the captive nuts in the top of the door front or the 'ear' on the door waist finisher are broken. This modification ensures that you still have adjustment to ensure a tight fit of the quarter light to the rubber seals. We have seen a number of cars with problems leading to poorly fitting or unadjustable quarter lights, this is a way of fixing this.
There will be other ways to fix this problem, this is how we do it.
