Throttle Linkage on Carb

Is there a throttle return recommendation for the Holley 390?

Summit said the throttle spring on the carb was enough. Is this the case?

You always need a external return spring and dual is for safety if one breaks.

This doesn't attach to the transmission attachment point on the bottom of the carb, does it? Because it cut it off.

Really like this one from Moroso. Bolts right onto Holley carbs, two sets of springs for different tensions and dual spring for redundancy

Mike, I must agree it is a good unit. A friend and fellow V6 er, Steve has that setup. I had forgotten until you posted

Rock, The one just posted by Mike will be better for you now that you have removed the bottom connection,

Rock, I discovered my lever touched the valve cover (VC) also. Just bent it in toward the intake manifold enough to clear the VC, then fastened the springs. Works great for me.

I decided to go with a cleaner look. Got this baby from Summit. It binds on the headcovers but a couple of spacers and some longer carb bolts and I am in business.
