    Carb advice needed

Wow. Thank you for taking the time to explain this all to me. I'm still learning about the extent of the cars built by Rootes and find the ones I've seen or learned about to be pretty damn cool. I'm sorry if I came off as being a bit dumb.

    Carb advice needed

The more I read on this board, the more I learn. I didn't even know this existed. Why did they use just a single carb on an engine that should at least have a deuce?

    Carb advice needed

A 67 Alpine (Series V) should have a 1725 stock, which is a 1.7L. I've never seen just a one-barrel Stromberg on the Alpine, I bet it's a dog on just that alone... Electric fuel pump? How much psi is it putting out?

    Bumper bolt issue

Thank you for mentioning the last part. I checked just out of paranoid and its welded pretty good in there. You made me think of something similar that I had to deal with years ago and the thought almost gave me a panic attack lol. How 'deep' is this nut? I thought about switching to a metric...

    SV Speedometer input 'screw' size?

Hi folks! Anyone know what the size of the outside 'screw' on the back of the Speedo that the cable screws onto is? I picked up a set of replica Smiths gauges from India (that Speedo 'screw-on' is M18x1.5) and I'd ideally like to adapt it to the speedo cable I got. I'll post a pic when I'm...
