How do I remove the dust cap/boot from the brake master cylinder? It's got like a crimp style fitting that I don't want to Mar the metal by just trying to pry it off. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Gently! Do the best you can and remember as long as it stays in place nobody is going to see it.

Gently is right, I would try to use one of those plastic upholestry pry bars and get that tab lifted enough to get something in between the plastic and tab so you don't Mar the metal.

Thanks guys, do the typical rebuild kits come with a new boot/cover? I assume so, as this will not be very useful once off.

if you got a new one with the rebuild kit, some selective cuts with a dremel tool should help ease the problem. Pad the pry bar so you don't damage the metal.
