Joel the central bonnet hinge is very sweet... Are the 3 rivets on the bonnet holding it or are they also an aesthetic detail?

Love everything about the car, especially the way the hood scoop goes all the way to the cowling. That is a lot of work but "fits" the great quality of the total car. I am also one of those who is not a fan of flat paints because I had to drive cars in primer to save $$$ for paint. On this Sunbeam the flat black works.
