Alpine v exhaust manifold part

Some of us don't have a parts book, but I have a V and can't visual an "iron clamp" between the carbs.

I got ya. Maybe, I'll have to go take a look. I'm sure someone has a gob of them sitting around.

I just happen to have my S5 carbs off for work and think I know the part you are referring to. Is this it in the photo? It clamps the lower/inner portion of the exhaust manifold to the head.

Jim The center clamp on my Alpine was cracked and snapped when I pulled it off. What is even more crazy is I had to cut the exhaust apart some dumb jack wagon of a mechanic welded the down pipes to the cast iron manifold. Go figure.
