Accessories master gallery

Can anyone post a definitive accessories list in a new thread to get things started?

I wonder if we can compile a photo catalogue of all the accessories like the excellent Ian Spencer did with the clocks, wheels and radios? I don't have the computer skills myself.

As better condition photos get added they replace the previous shots until we have a perfect NOS boxed Gallery

I've searched but I can't find my Accessories leaflet but to get the ball rolling I can offer pics of these accessories to start things off. The visors, amp gauge, clock and tonneau are very common and I'm certain there are chaps on this forum who have between them everything in very good NOS condition.

Fog lamp/ driving lamp Auxilary switch
Parking lamp (clamps to road side window)
Fog lamps Lumax NOS boxed
Driving Lamps Lumax NOS boxed
NOS boxed Sparto reverse light kit with bases
NOS boxed locking petrol cap
Early series sun visors
Early series rear seat squabs
NOS boxed gear lever locking kit (but rubber gaiter rotted :-(
NOS boxed 3 point seat belt (Irvin with Rootes label)
Tonneau (common)(used)
Bonnet flash
Wing (fender) mirrors with built in aerial
Microcell seats 'Contour 6 (round top) Bernd also has a pair ;)
SII radio kit
Amp guage kit (common)
SI & SII Clocks (common)
Map pocket kit
Under bonnet light kit (probably but no Rootes illustrations available yet)
Screen /Heater kit (common)(used)
Screen wash kit (common)(used)
Radiator Blind

My 'collection' is puny compared to other members who are serious long time collectors. Come on guys - post your pics!

However the 'HOLY GRAIL' has to be the Hartwell tuning branded inlet manifold. I've only seen it referred to in writing in the early '60s. Did it really exist? Perhaps it was never Hartwell branded but the common unbranded twin Weber manifold on all HLMs? I don't know anything in detail about HLM Weber manifolds so can't say.

Don't shoot me down if you think I have got something wrong. I'm writing this from memory

Great idea ! Would believe that the "ZU" section 5th issue of the partslist would be a good starting point. I didn't pay too much attention to it earlier since I have those accessory brochures which are more nicer and contain actual pictures. There are more interesting items listed such as the tuning kits, an air cleaner conversion kit, boot lamp kit, cockpit covers, Multi purpose cushion, Tyre inflator kit, fender mirrors with integrated arial and quite interestingly a panoramic fender mirror for Sweden ...

I have a few bits and pieces but no NOS or even still boxed stuff. Anyway let's get started..

Hi Bernd,

Used is fine. Most of my accessories are used as well but when we get better pics from othe members we'll drop those in instead.

If you could post the list from the parts catalogue and the brochure, we'll use that as the thread start and we can send our pics in. Some one with more skill than me could create a gallery from the best examples.

It'll be fun to see who has what at the start and in what condition and who's picure gets bumped off by a better version. 'Top trumps' for old farts:D

Let the fun begin

I have a Rootes boxed NOS set of Sparto back-up lights with bases and instructions. I could take some pictures. It will be up on e-bay someday. Has anyone volunteered to put this together?

Thanks,
Dan I am thinking about a wood dash for my SV. I seem to remember that you at one time made heater and defrost brackets to convert a plastic dash to a wood one

The radio mount still has a cassette player installed so that tells you how many years it's been in the car.107_0287.JPG
